my dad was from lawrence ky. we are related to captain john savage. Have you seen the savage land grant. several years ago there was a ad in the big sandy news louisa ky advertising a book on the savage family. I did not have the fifty dollars to purchase it at that time. never seen it again.

I am familiar with the book as it was published in the early 1970's. If you know where I can find a copy of the book. I will give 100.00 cash money for it. My Research at the national archives and the library of congress in recent years have brought new facts to light over the last few decades. I am familiar with the articles about Captain John Savage as my Great Grandfather (George Washington Savage Jr.) and my Grandmother Virginia Savage Allen (Wife of Kermit Savage) were the sources of those articles. hi i am searching for my 3rd g her name is polly savage b 1812 kentucky married in 1832 in flankin ky i believe. she married a samuel halpain. he was from ky or virginia. they both passed in oregon . i am trying the parents of polly savage and on. she is the only savage i have. if you know anything PLEASE let me know. i have had no luck. i thank you shirley.-------
